The Product

Empowering couples to navigate their relationship journey, this app fosters organization, open communication, and mutual understanding every step of the way.

Project Duration

October 2023 - March 2024

The Problem

Managing reminders, to-do lists, and other tasks becomes cumbersome without the support of a unified app, creating unnecessary hassles in coordination. There is no app in the market that does all of that.

The Goal

Enhances couples' communication and productivity by seamlessly integrating all essential features into a single, user-friendly application.

The Role

Product designer - responsible for shaping the user experience and aesthetic appeal of the application.

Responsibilities

1. User research
2. Wireframing
3. Prototyping

Competitor Analysis

I conducted research on Google to analyze my competitors, organizing the findings into a table on Notion for clearer comparison of their similarities and differences. Subsequently, I utilized Procreate to create a brainstorm diagram outlining the competitor analysis, categorizing them into intimacy, practicality, communication, gaming, counseling, sexuality, and dating.

Accessibility considerations

1. Contrast checker

Using contrast checker to make sure that my UI designs and colour choices meet accessibility standards

2. Adding microphone

The microphone feature enhances accessibility by enabling users to interact with the application using their voice instead of traditional input methods like typing or clicking. This feature benefits individuals with motor disabilities, limited dexterity, or vision impairments who may find it challenging to use a keyboard or mouse. Additionally, voice input can increase productivity, improve efficiency, and provide an alternative means of interaction for users with diverse needs and preferences.

3. Light and dark mode

Light and dark mode options improve accessibility by allowing users to choose the display mode that is most comfortable for their eyes and visual preferences. This customization reduces eye strain, enhances visibility, and improves readability, benefiting users with varying vision capabilities and preferences. Additionally, dark mode can conserve battery life on certain devices.
